Mystery Egg Hunt

Betty Hoskins coordinated the Mystery Egg Hunt and added a new element this year – additional eggs and ‘Bunny Clues’. Clues were posted daily beginning Monday, March 29.

1. Cole Chancey & Hannah and Taylor Hodges found Clue Bunny 1 and the Blue Egg.
2. Shalonda Samuel found Clue Bunny 2 & Clue Bunny 3
3. Tracey Pickett found the Green Egg
4. Jacob and Jared Russell and Leila Hurst found Clue Bunny 5
5. Michaelyn Eason found the Golden and Red Eggs and Clue Bunny 4


Easter Bonnet

The Easter Bonnet contest on Saturday is always a popular feature of the festival; Nancy Hoffman coordinates this activity and announced the following winners:

Best Barbecue Butt in Boston

The Best Barbecue Butt in Boston competition was keen as always. The teams started setting up Friday and the town awoke Saturday morning to the heady aromas of barbecue wafting through the air. Joe Harris chaired this event and thanks everyone who participated. Trophies were awarded by Mayor Danny Groover at 7:30 Saturday night during the Grey Brothers performance in Watt Park

The Spring Fling is sponsored and produced by the Boston Community Club; proceeds are used to maintain the Boston Community Center on Main Street. Meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM; all Boston residents are encouraged to participate. Be sure to mark you calendar for the last Saturday in October when the Boston Community Club will sponsor the 31st Annual Mini-Marathon and Festival.
